RESOURCES OUTSIDE OUR CAMPUS.

The First Presbyterian Church of Allentown recommends that members and friends utilize the church’s Stephen Ministry during especially hard times in your life. Stephen Ministries provide confidential one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation & community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.

We act as the “care-givers” while faithfully believing that Jesus is the “cure-giver.” All requests for Stephen Ministers are kept strictly confidential. Call the church office at 610-395-3781 or email Rev. Lindsay Harren-Lewis at lindsay.harren-lewis@fpcallentown.org

Outside of the Stephen Ministry program, the following community resources are available to you and your loved ones.

RESOURCES ON OUR CAMPUS

One of our gifts is the building our congregation calls home. Each Sunday, we gather in three worship spaces and enjoy learning and fellowship in the various classrooms. During the week the church also opens its doors to many support groups and public organizations that benefit from our welcoming spaces.

Below is a link to groups and other free community resources in Lehigh County that we encourage members to use in a time of need.  In addition to our own Stephen Ministries and small groups, individuals and families may still need free access to health and social services in our area, or may be looking to join an adult or children’s group outside of the church. CULTURAL HUMILITY RESOURCES

Throughout the month of February 2017 we posted resources on race and cultural humility to complement out Sermon Series : New Possibilities of Life. We hope that by compiling them in one place more people will have access to them. These resources are JUST A BEGINNING and are meant to help further study, conversation, reflection and understanding.
