Refugee Boutique   Plans are underway for a “Refugee Boutique”!  Church members have responded so generously to the needs of refugee families that a place was needed to hold the donations until they can be distributed.  A kind person has offered a place where the refugees will be able to come and choose the clothing and shoes that fit them. Here’s how you can help: items needed to set up the boutique include hangers, 14-18 gallon size totes and sheets of any size. These items are needed now, so please place donations in the refugee collection box by the office. You can also join in with this great project--sign up to help clean, sort and arrange the brand new boutique during the Saturday of Service on September 25.  Thank you!

  • E.S.L. Tutors:  Are you listening for your call to do God’s work in the world? Here is a wonderful opportunity- no experience needed! Recent refugees in our area are anxious to learn English, but they need tutors. A newly formed tutor committee with coordinators will help train, advise, and provide materials, but they need volunteers. An hour to 1 ½ hours, once a week is all you need— you can even choose the day and time. If you are feeling called to this ministry, please contact the tutor coordinator, Mary Newbegin:  newbegin.r@rcn.com; 610-395-6611.

Where does God lead YOU?

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the
same Spirit; and there are varieties
of service, but the same Lord; and
there are varieties of working, but it
is the same God, who inspires them
all in every one."

I Corinthians 12:4-5
