Stewardship Committee Mission

• To promote a stewardship awareness based on Biblical, traditional, and prayerful consideration for valuing possessions and wealth as a trust of resources given by God
• To Challenge the congregation to share and offer resources of treasures and talents, and
• To ensure wise and faithful use of those resources in furthering the kingdom of God in today's World.

We hold the opinion that "Stewardship is Everything We Do After We Say....I Believe"  To that end we have been focusing on stewardship and dedication of our time, talent & treasure.  We rededicate our time & talent and our treasure in fall.  Monthly we publish opportunities for immediate and specific volunteer opportunities.  Periodically we give the congregation a financial update.

The church ended 2009 with a deficit.  For more details, please see the text of the Stewardship Report in the 2009 Annual Report. We've pledged to give regular updates so check tidings, the bulletin and your personal statements for a review of our progress this year.

As a congregation we gave over $275,000 in 2008, representing over 17% of undesignated receipts, toward benevolence within and beyond the denomination, locally, nationally and internationally. In addition the congregations gave $108,000 of designated giving through the church..   Thank you for blessing others.
